On 21st January, 2015, the representatives of Certification Company SGS London handed three certificates to the members of Kowlanatur in Zagreb, having assessed Kowlanatur business as successfully harmonized with norms ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:202 and requirements MDD 93/42 EEC directive.
With several Croatian, EU and global companies, research institutions and institutes, Kowlanatur initiated the establishment of the GAC Group- Global Allergy Cluster. The members of this cluster strive to increase their business efficiency and export, and to exploit the effects of integrating procurement, development and promotional activities, by defining and implementing common vision, mission, objectives and strategies. Formal accession to the cluster will occur upon signing contracts by all cluster members on 7th November, 2014 in London.
On 10th October, 2014 an agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership between Saline Nin and Kowlanatur was signed in Zagreb. This cooperation will take previous commercial relationship to another level by opening new areas of cooperation, namely: launching joint development of research projects and scientific research projects, joint promotional activities and the activities of a joint approach in opening export markets.
From 7-10 September, 2014, Kowlanatur team responsible for the export market, during a visit to the world’s largest pharmaceutical event of the year and the CPHI fair in Paris, held a series of meetings and established many new contacts with potential customers and suppliers of Sal Maris program. The representatives of Kowlanatur emphasized that Sal Maris program, isotonic and hypertonic solution of sea water and salt sparked a huge interest of “audience in Paris.” As a result, we have received a series of concrete offers and inquiries, some of them are still expected to arrive, and the Management believes some of them will lead to relevant business cooperation.
On 19th September, 2014 a 3-day certification audit was completed for the operations of the company and employees of Kowlanatur, conducted by accredited international certification company SGS London. The business of Kowlanatur was rated as successfully harmonized with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 13485: 2012 and MDD 93/42 EEC directive. The Management Board pointed out that this marked an important moment for the company, and that we knew that in this way long-standing efforts that the employees and the Management of Kowlanatur made in the preparatory period would be recognized, with the aim of establishing the necessary processes and meet the requirements of the above mentioned standards and norms.
